90 of the 90 prop firms we track accept traders from Brazil. FundedNext comes out on top of our Brazilian ranking at 4.4/5. A typical $10K forex challenge costs about 516 BRL (a median of $99, pass fees included). No firm on our list restricts Brazil, so eligibility is not your problem. Choice is. With the whole market open, the useful question stops being "who will take me?" and becomes "whose rules fit the way I trade?"
What does a challenge cost in reais?
Firms price in dollars, so the real cost moves with the exchange rate, which we take at 5.2115 reais per dollar. At that rate the median one-time forex challenge comes to around 1,808 BRL for a $50K account and 2,965 BRL for $100K, against $347 and $569 in dollars. FundedHive sells the cheapest entry on our list at $9.
A fairer comparison than the headline price is the cost per $10K of account size, because larger accounts often come cheaper per unit of buying power. Then check what arrives after you pass: about 6% of challenges add an activation fee at that point.
Paying is straightforward. Cards are taken by 85 firms, crypto by 77 and e-wallets by 57. On the Brazilian side, 4 firms take Pix, Boleto or PicPay for the fee. Where Pix is offered, it spares you an overseas card charge. On the way out, 67 firms pay profits in crypto, 54 via Rise and 43 by bank transfer, and 54 run payout cycles of a week or less. Choose the payout route you can receive before you buy, and remember the rate works in both directions: profit converted back into reais is worth more or less depending on the day.
When does the market wake up in Brazil?
Brazil has stayed on UTC−3 without daylight saving since 2019, while Europe and the US still switch. The London open therefore arrives at around 04:00 in the northern summer and 05:00 in winter, before most alarms. New York stocks open at about 10:30 or 11:30, a civilized mid-morning start, and the CME futures session runs almost around the clock from Sunday evening to Friday.
That timing makes US indices and futures a natural fit, and you have depth to choose from: 30 firms offer futures, next to 55 for forex and CFDs and 14 for crypto. Be aware that about 25% of futures challenges are billed monthly, so the price keeps running until you pass. Forex traders who want the London session will need either an early start or a strategy built around the New York half of the day.
Which rules fit your style?
With 90 options, the rulebook is where firms really separate. Our ranking puts FundedNext first, FundingPips second and The5ers third, but a high score does not make a firm right for every trader. Read these points side by side:
- drawdown: 62 firms offer static-drawdown accounts, where the loss floor never climbs with your equity the way a trailing one does;
- daily limits: they reset each day, and only about 9% of challenges skip them;
- automation and news: 64 firms allow expert advisors and 81 allow news trading;
- platforms: the most common are MT5 (50 firms), Match Trader (28 firms) and cTrader (27 firms).
If you would rather not take an evaluation at all, 60 firms sell instant funding at a higher entry price.
Keep in mind that every challenge is a simulated evaluation, paid out under the firm's own terms rather than from a brokerage account. How that income is taxed depends on Brazilian rules and your circumstances, and we are not tax advisers, so check with a qualified accountant before you withdraw.
