How Prop Firms Top handles your data

You never need an account on propfirmstop.com, and there is no newsletter and no comment section. The only data we collect is the technical kind required to deliver pages, count visits as totals and attribute affiliate referrals.

When you load a page

Cloudflare, which hosts the site and delivers its content, handles the usual details of each request: your IP address, your browser type, which page you asked for and when. That data serves three purposes: showing you the site, shielding it from abuse and keeping it online. We never link it with other data to work out who you are.

We also keep a request log of our own: for each page request, the page address, the time, your IP address, browser type, referring page and country are sent to our crawl-monitoring service. We use it to see how search engines and AI crawlers read the site and to spot abuse. We do not combine it with other data to identify visitors or use it for advertising.

Our fonts come from Google Fonts, which means your browser also contacts Google each time a page loads.

Visit statistics

No analytics tool runs on this site at present. If we add one, this page will name it. We do not profile individual visitors, we do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

Links to prop firms

Every link to a prop firm runs through our /visit/ redirect. Some are affiliate links. After you click one, the firm or the affiliate platform it uses may place a cookie on its own website so that it can credit us if you buy a challenge. The firm controls that cookie, and its own privacy policy governs it. What reaches us from firms is commission reporting; your name, email address and payment details are not part of it. Our affiliate disclosure page describes how these partnerships affect the site.

Cookies and browser storage

We set no advertising cookies. The site does save your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage, and that value never leaves your device.

When you email us

Messages you send us are used for two things only: answering you and handling the correction or review you sent. We hold on to that correspondence just as long as that purpose requires.

Your data rights

Which rights apply depends on where you live (the GDPR and UK GDPR are two examples). Under them you can ask us what data we hold on you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Send your request to [email protected]. You are also free to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
