The5ers leads our track-record ranking of the 13 prop firms that pass our trust filter: 10 years in business and 38,714 public reviews averaging 4.7/5. We rank this page on years, review volume and rating, with a quarter of the weight on our overall score, where The5ers is #3 of 90. By overall score, the strongest firms here are FundedNext, The5ers and City Traders Imperium.
We judge trust on three measurable signals: years in business, public trader feedback and any warning about payouts or regulators.
Every firm here has traded for at least four years, holds a public rating of 4 or better and carries no warning from us.
Method: To make the cut a firm needs 4+ years in business, a public rating of 4.0 or better and no warnings. Then it ranks on years, review volume and rating, blended with our score. No firm with an open warning makes the picks. We quote official list prices with no promo codes and add any fee you pay after passing.

Track record, firm by firm
Three signals we can measure: how long the firm has operated, how many traders have rated it in public and how they rate it. The last column shows where it sits on our overall score, which also weighs price, rules and access.
Sorted by track record: years since founding, the number of public reviews and their rating, with our overall score as 25% of the weight. A ⚠ flag means the firm carries a warning, so read its review first.
Vetting a prop firm yourself
Identify the legal entity. A real company name and registered address in the footer, and terms naming who processes payouts, are the minimum.
Study the one-star reviews. Watch for repeats: payouts denied after a rule tweak, support that goes silent, accounts shut without a clear reason.
Search regulator alert lists. Several prop firms have shown up on investor alert lists. Our legitimacy guide covers what to check.
Judged by history, The5ers leads with 10 years in business and a public score of 4.7/5. Judged by our overall score, FundedNext comes first.
Which prop firms are the most trusted?
The5ers, FTMO, FundedNext, Earn2Trade, Apex Trader Funding, City Traders Imperium, Take Profit Trader and Bulenox, in the order of this page.
Why is FTMO high here but lower overall?
This page weighs history and reviews, where FTMO is strong. Our overall score also weighs price, rules and country access, and puts it at #68 of 90, held back mainly by country access (37/100).
Are any prop firms legitimate?
Yes. 13 firms in our data have run for four years or more with good public ratings and no warnings. Firms that shut down are logged in our closed prop firms registry.
